A Thankful Heart: Sheer Textured Blouse + Skinny Jeans

Although my plans of traveling to Southeast Asia failed short, I couldn't have asked for a more eventful summer. My fantasy of sipping on a cup of iced coffee amidst the busy scene of mopeds maneuvering to their destinations and relishing in local dishes didn't materialize. Instead, there were plenty of laughter and memories to fill my heart with warm feelings and thankfulness.

Side Note: The fabric inside, around the sleeveless areas and hemlines, aren't sown into the shirt -overall wouldn't recommend it!

And I came to realize (albeit belatedly and as cheesy as it may sound) that the destination of where I travel didn't matter as long as it was with good company. Just like the flowers that are currently in bloom and in forty-three more days the season will transition into autumn, I'll continue to cherish these memories with a thankful heart and a grateful smile. 

Fitting Room Try-ons and Recent Purchase: Ann Taylor, GAP, Francesca's, and Express

The World Cup has just ended yesterday and summer is drawing to a close. Before school resumes, I'll make it a goal to have at least two posts published. I've also been thinking of incorporating some verses from my poems in my posts. Perhaps in the near future!

For this post, I want to share these IRL pictures from last month purchase and fitting room try-ons at Ann Taylor and an item each at GAP, Francesca's, and Express. I'm 4'11" and ~95 lbs. Items still available online are included with clickable links right below the images. Just to forewarn, this is a picture-heavy post!

Closet Remix: Floral Tunic & Denim Body-con Skirt

These pictures were taken a couple moons ago. I made it a goal then to remix some closet items that haven't received much love. This denim body-con skirt fits the category and also proved to be a challenge to style! It's still a challenge to me; however, I have several ideas in mind and can't wait to try them out with various body-con skirts I own.

Review: Gap's 2013 Slim Cropped Pants

I had been skimming through Gap and Banana Republic's websites sporadically for business-casual pants and white tailored blouses. The only items that caught my eyes were the Slim Cropped Pants under Gap's Premium Pant Collection. *Slim and cropped?* Even the name sounded perfect for someone petite like me! Better yet, it was as if I had hit jack-pot after reading that most reviews claimed they ran small and suggested to size up! When Gap recently ran their 30% off promo, I immediately ordered a khaki pair and this after seeing how well it looked on Wendy (also a fellow petite)! After using my reward credits, I paid about $11 for both. If interested, these pants are still available in 00P online!

those reward credits are finally put to good use :)
