Musing // Hopeless Romantic

There was an acquaintance, I barely knew, who reoccurred in my dream. *I'm sure this happens to people too...once in a blue moon? :O* It felt so real that I almost message him upon awakening to continue the conversation he and I were having with our mutual friends. I felt excited to catch-up because it had been a while since we last talked.

In retrospect, I sort of had a positive impression of him. Our encounter was serendipitous. It was quite pleasant and heart-fluttering in how it came about. *Yes, I admit I'm a hopeless romantic. Note to self: Must watch less idealistic Asian dramas.* I remembered engulfing him in a storm of questions about his career path and life goals. And how we happily matched our footsteps to the beat of our conversation. Have you ever met someone who you barely know yet felt great chemistry with?

Spring Forward // Long Cardigan + Mauve Pencil Skirt

Spring is just around the corner, that means colorful blooms and sniffles! In 2018, I hope to gain many positive experiences, be proactive in achieving my health goals, generate creative content, and of course blog more!

"Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up." Stephen Hawking

International Women's Day // Self-Reflection

Happy International Women's Day to all the women out there! I have recently rediscovered some favorite classics (about a decade old) that I was obsessed with, and became enamored with them again like it was just yesterday. As I listen to these bittersweet melodies and words that I don't comprehend, I fall into a reverie of self-reflection... I come to realize the importance of open-mindedness, faith, compromise, and the willingness to take "educated" risks. The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot. -Michael Althsuler

Napa Valley: Bell-Sleeves and Sheer Maxi Skirt

I've been distressing over ways to enhance my blog. This can be easily resolved by hiring someone/teaching myself. These options have been left by the wayside, but are definitely on my ultimate to-do list! On a happier note, here's my adventure in Napa Valley -reminiscent of my childhood of running through the grapevines, plucking the neighbors' grapes and popping them in my mouth. Aah, the sweetness and innocence of childhood : ).

Exactly five more weeks until X'mas and one week until New Year's after that. Many tasks to accomplish and things to sort through before the arrival of 2017. Yet instead of applying time management as my theme, I time-travel to my past excursions -one of which is Berkeley Botanical Garden!

In all seriousness, I should start on my to-do list before midnight strikes. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

College Campus Tour: Lace Shorts + Off-the-Shoulder Checkered Print

A favorite activity that I love to do while traveling is to visit universities in the vicinity, take a leisure stroll through campus, and allow my eyes to be mesmerized by stunning architecture and landscape. Oddly, it's just something that makes me feel giddy & slaphappy, and unknowingly I find myself smiling contently.
My "huh?" moment, quite on the daily :[]
